Nick Hinds Selected To USL Team of the Week

Sounders FC 2 midfielder Nick Hinds has been selected to the United Soccer League’s Team of the Week for week one, the league announced today.

Hinds, making his professional debut with S2 on Saturday as the club kicked off the Cheney Stadium era against Portland Timbers 2, notched the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory.

In addition to his goal, which earned him Man of the Match honors, Hinds won two tackles and five-of-eight duels in the midfield for S2.

Joining Nick Hinds on the week one USL Team of the Week are Saint Louis FC goalkeeper Jake Fenlason, Louisville City FC defender Paco Craig, FC Cincinnati defender Dekel Keinan, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC defender Taylor Hunter, Charlotte Independence midfielder Cordell Cato, New York Red Bulls II midfielder Andrew Tinari, Tampa Bay Rowdies midfielder Jack Blake, Bethlehem Steel FC forward Brandon Allen, Las Vegas Lights FC forward Matt Thomas, and Swope Park Rangers forward Kharlton Belmar.
